Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the CaddieIQ app and website handle, why, and the choices you have. CaddieIQ is made by Omnivia Apps. Our full privacy policy, covering all our apps, is at omnivia.uk/privacy. If you have any questions, contact us at omniviaapps@gmail.com.

Information we handle

• On your phone. Rounds you play on the phone, scores, shots, GPS positions, swing videos, settings and preferences are stored on your phone.
• Your account (optional). You can sign in with Google, or with an email and password (on iPhone, also with Apple), or use the app as a guest. An account holds your name, email and subscription level. If you sign in (not as a guest), it also holds a backup of your golf profile — the name, age, postcode, gender, country, handedness, handicap, average score and playing habits you entered — your bag and club distances, so they come back if you reinstall or change phone, and rounds played on the CaddieIQ watch app. CaddieIQ and our Omnia Life app share one sign-in system, so using the same sign-in for both gives you one account.
• Location. With your permission, your phone's GPS is used on the course to measure distances, map your shots and load the right course. Location from rounds played on the phone stays on the phone. We don't track your location in the background.
• Course data. When you choose a course, a request for that course is sent to our golf-course data provider (iGolf), or to OpenStreetMap for courses iGolf doesn't have. It includes the course, not who you are.
• AI features. When you use the AI caddie, swing analysis, practice plans or round analysis, the relevant question, audio, video frames or round details are sent through our server to Google's Gemini AI to produce the answer. Google does not use this to train its models.
• Purchases. Subscriptions are paid through Google Play (and through Apple when CaddieIQ is on iPhone), managed with RevenueCat. We receive your subscription status, never your card details. Everyone starts on the free Starter level, with every feature unlocked for the first 7 days.
• Beta testers and feedback. If you sign up as a beta tester or send feedback on this website, we keep what you enter (such as your name, email, handicap, how often you play, your phone and your answers) to run the beta programme.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not show ads or share your data with advertisers.
• We do not use third-party analytics or tracking tools.
• We do not require you to create an account to use the core features.

Service providers

We use these providers to run parts of the service: Google (sign-in, account storage in the UK, and Gemini AI), iGolf and OpenStreetMap (course data), RevenueCat (subscription management) and Google Play / the Apple App Store (downloads and payments). They handle data only as needed to provide their service.

Keeping and deleting your data

Data on your phone stays until you delete it: use Settings → Remove All Data, or uninstall the app. Data in your account stays until you delete the account.

To delete your account and everything stored online with it — profile backup, bag, club distances and watch rounds — open Settings → Account → Delete Account in the app. It is removed from our live systems straight away and from backups within 30 days. If you also use Omnia Life with the same sign-in, that account is deleted too. You can also ask us by email; see omnivia.uk/delete-account.

Children

CaddieIQ is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under UK/EU GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact omniviaapps@gmail.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
